Does your boat hook have trouble picking up a buoy??

The Exe Buoy Hook was designed by us for use on our boat.  Our problem is a fast flowing estuary with a mooring buoy that didn't want to be picked up, you may know the feeling.  Therefore an easy to use sturdy boat hook is absolutely essential for both myself and my wife.

This boat hook has proven very popular with fellow boat owners from all over the UK and enquiries from the continent and even Australia! 

These are more than strong enough to be used for fending off other boats, pontoons and harbour walls simply by holding the hook end and using the handle.  They will not collapse unlike the telescopic boat hooks. 

We are also now selling to commercial fishermen who find the hook more efficient at picking up their lobster/crab pot ropes. They have found the best length for the Exe Buoy Hook to be around 2 metres.  A commercial fisherman in Ilfracombe has said

"I haven't missed a rope yet with it".
